Please read the FAQs page for information on billing, logistics, therapy, and mindfulness. Many of your questions can be answered there.

Next, send me a brief email including: 1) if you’re interested in therapy or mindfulness, and 2) what you’d like to work on (e.g., work stress).

If I need more information, then I’ll schedule a brief phone call with you.
If we both think that we may be a good fit, then I’ll schedule your first appointment. Fit will be determined at the end of the first session.
Please note that it may take me 2-3 business days to respond to your email during normal business hours. Email communication does not establish a therapeutic relationship and I am not able to provide therapeutic services to those who are not established clients.

Once your appointment is scheduled, I’ll email you a link to set up your profile on the client portal. When you click on the link, you’ll be directed to Simple Practice which is the HIPAA compliant electronic health records system that I use.
Once you set up your profile, you’ll be able to complete all of your new client paperwork online. Here’s a guide if you need support signing in.
I require that all paperwork is completed within 24 hours of your first appointment. I am not able to provide services until this occurs.

When we schedule your first session, you’ll receive an email with a secure link to join at the time of your appointment. When you join, you’ll be placed in a waiting room until I’m ready to see you.
The platform that I use is Simple Practice. For the best experience please use a laptop or desktop to connect to your session. If you choose to use a cell phone for the video call, you will be prompted to download the free Simple Practice app. If you accidently delete the email, you can always view your upcoming appointment through the client portal.
At the end of your first visit, if we both agree that we’re a good fit, then we’ll schedule the next session. If we’re not a good fit, then I’ll provide you with referrals.
