CULTIVATING BALANCE & EASE : YIN + SOUND BATH (2019)

Yin yoga is the practice of letting go, releasing, and looking inward. During a sound bath, sound and vibrations are used to adjust the breath and brain waves to a more relaxed and meditative state. 

Weaving these two practices together stimulates the nervous system, decreasing stress, and cultivating a state of balance and ease. As the body and mind calm, one may experience mental clarity, changes in physical sensations in the body, and a deeper connection to one’s intuition.   

Join Mei Ling and Michelle for a restorative yin practice and bathe in the vibrations of crystal singing bowls and chimes--finding balance and ease. The practice closes with the sound of pure silence experienced through Savasana.

We are holding this workshop in 2018 and in 2019.

YIN + NIDRA (2019)

Balance your nervous system and enter a state of complete calm and effortless relaxation. In addition to finding deep relaxation, this calm state is an excellent place to cultivate and seed your intentions. We will prepare for nidra by starting with a restorative yin practice and then ending by dropping into a nidra practice. Join Mei Ling for this workshop and leave feeling refreshed with a renewed sense of intention and clarity.

NOURISHING THE SOUL: YIN, BREATH WORK, & MEDITATION (2018)

It's said that if you nourish the soul first, every other aspect of your being is nourished.

Yin yoga is a quiet practice that taps into the parasympathetic nervous system, ultimately decreasing stress and promoting digestion, allowing one to fully rejuvenate. Breath work is a combination of breath awareness and controlled breathing that allows one to sink deeper into their practice.

Research suggests that meditation can boost immunity, increase positive emotion, and improve focus. It’s amazing that something so simple can have such profound effect —ultimately improving your quality of life!

This trilogy of yin, breath work, and meditation is a powerful combination that nourishes the soul. Join Jodi and Mei Ling for a rejuvenating yin practice with elements of breath work weaved throughout. This will be followed by guided meditation that can be practiced by lying down in savasana or seated.
